USAG Okinawa's Juneteenth Celebration

USAG Okinawa and Torii MWR will be hosting our first ever inaugural Juneteenth Celebration on Torii Beach on Saturday, 18 June from 11am to 1900.

Celebrate with us with multiple activities to include a Parade, Boardwalk Timeline through African American historic milestones, Community Leaders, Young & Gifted Performances, Red & Black on the Green Function, the largest Cook Out on the island, KidsZone with bouncy houses, Arts & Crafts, local vendors celebrating African American heritage, and more.

We are currently looking for craft and food vendors as well competitors for our cooking competitions. Competitions include a Grill Master Competition, Best Mac 'n Cheese and Grandma's Apple Pie. Vendor applications are due 5/19 at 1630. The Torii Beach water slide will be in full operations with live entertainment throughout the day.

パレードやアフリカ系アメリカ人の歴史的なマイルストーンを展示したボードウォーク、赤、黒、緑のテーマカラーでコミュニティリーダーや才能ある若者によるスピーチやパフォーマンス、料理対決、子供たちの大好きなバウンシーハウスのあるキッズゾーン、アート＆ クラフト、またアフリカ系アメリカ人のを祝うローカルベンダーなど盛りだくさん！

トリイ MWRは料理対決参加者とクラフト/フードベンダーを募集してます！料理対決では、グリルマスター、ベストマカロニチーズ、おばあちゃんのアップルパイの3つの対決があります。 ベンダー/料理対決の申し込み期限は5/19の午後4時30分です。参加申し込書はこちらからダウンロードしてください。 大会の公式ルールを確認するには以下をクリックしてください。
